To mark Holocaust Memorial Day, Ark Victoria Academy joined the Echo Eternal project which uses the arts to commemorate and honour Holocaust survivor testimonies.
Ark Victoria was given the testimony of one survivor, Peter Lantos, who at the age of five was captured from his home town of Mako in Hungary and taken to the concentration camp Bergen-Belsen.

Thursday 21st January 2021

More than 12,000 digital devices have so far been distributed to Ark’s 38 schools to support remote learning, particularly among disadvantaged students. 
This includes more than 5,500 devices provided by the DfE with the additional devices funded by our Coronavirus Appeal last year to ensure that all students in Key Stage 2 and above have access to a school device to support their learning at home by the start of the next academic year.

All 38 schools in the Ark network are supporting their students through the COVID-19 pandemic with dedicated measures to enable digital access, accelerate learning and protect wellbeing.
The pandemic has caused significant disruption for all schools and Ark staff have been working tirelessly to keep classrooms open – and to ensure students catch up from the loss of learning time and continue to thrive into the future.

The Ark Music team has brought some festive cheer as part of its 12 Days of Create-mas programme.
With traditional Christmas and community events unable to take place this term, the two-week festival of creativity for Ark's primary school pupils aimed to fill this gap.

Eleven Ark Elvin Academy students featured in the English National Opera's (ENO) I am Here project, which saw their self-portraits on display at London Coliseum during a concert of Mozart's Requiem, which aired on TV last weekend (14 November).

Two Ark Principals - Herminder Channa of Ark Boulton Academy in Birmingham and Max Haimendorf of King Solomon Academy (KSA) in London - have been awarded OBEs for services to education as part of the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

More than 180 Year 7 students have begun their secondary education at the new Ark Blake Academy.
Ark Blake, a non-selective secondary school located in a brand-new building on Morland Road in Croydon, opened its doors earlier this month.
