ARK Schools today reported the network’s seventh GCSE results for the eight ARK academies which have GCSE students. Across the network, 58% of pupils achieved five A*-C grades including English and mathematics, with attainment in both mathematics and English outperforming national attainment. Across the network:

ARK Schools has reported a third set of A level results for the three schools that now have year 13 students: Burlington Danes Academy, Walworth Academy and ARK Putney Academy. Across the three schools 186 students sat 555 A level and equivalent exams achieving a 98% pass rate overall – in line with national attainment for 2013.

ARK Atwood Primary Academy in North Westminster has been graded outstanding in every category by Ofsted, the second of ARK’s 2011 primary openings to be rated outstanding in recent weeks.
The two-form entry primary academy opened in September 2011 just off the Harrow Road and is now over-subscribed. Reflecting the diverse local population, pupils have links with 26 countries, many speaking English as a second language. An above average proportion of children are eligible for pupil premium.

ARK Conway Primary School in Hammersmith has received a letter of congratulations from the Prime Minister on having been graded outstanding in every category by Ofsted, the first Free School to secure the highest rating from Her Majesty’s Inspectors.
The letter reads: “To all the staff and pupils at ARK Conway. Many congratulations on being the first free school to get an outstanding from Ofsted. This is a superb achievement and one you can all be proud of. Best wishes, David Cameron.”

On 3 July, we staged our biggest Music Gala yet at the Barbican in London, featuring more than 500 students from 18 schools.
Our annual Music Gala is a highlight in our schools' calendar: a celebration of music from across the network, it's an opportunity for students of all ages and abilities to perform on stage in front of a select audience of parents, teachers and invited guests.

ARK Conway Primary School in Hammersmith has been graded outstanding in every category by Ofsted, the first Free School to secure the highest rating from Her Majesty’s Inspectors. The school was commended for its “high quality teaching that inspires and motivates all pupils to try their very best.”

ARK Schools is delighted to announce that Laura Stone, Head of Humanities at Burlington Danes Academy in Hammersmith, London, has been named “Inspirational Teacher of the Year” at the 2013 Times Educational Supplement Awards, held on 05 July.

On 3 July, we staged our biggest Music Gala yet at the Barbican in London. More than 500 pupils from our 18 school network took part in the highlight of our year. Jubilant at their performance and the audience reaction, pupils as young as five showed few nerves as they performed pieces from Elgar to Rihanna to a packed auditorium. Highlights included an energetic horn section performance of the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams” by Isaac Newton and Walworth Academies, prompting a standing ovation.

Middle Row Primary School, which is to become an ARK academy in September, has won glowing praise from Ofsted and been rated a good school in its latest report from her majesty's inspectors of schools. The north Kensington primary school was rated good in every area of the inspection, for achievement, teaching, behaviour and safety, and leadership and management. The inspectors said that: "All groups of pupils achieve well because teaching is good overall and some is outstanding."
