The Ark Global Teaching Fellowship

Have an impact beyond your classroom. Way beyond.

As an Ark teacher, you have the chance to work alongside great colleagues from different subjects, schools and cities. But why stop there? As an international charity, we want our teachers to share their expertise and learn from colleagues in schools across the globe, not just the UK. That’s where the Ark Global Teaching Fellowship comes in…

The programme is an opportunity for talented and ambitious teachers to work in our international schools - a chance to do something amazing with your summer or Easter holidays. It is also a unique opportunity to develop professionally in a wholly new context.

“The Ark Global Teaching Fellowship programme was an outstanding experience that I will never forget. It developed me as a leader and gave me the chance to observe and experience education in a very different setting.”  -- Daniela Grasso (Ark Bentworth)

Working with a partner school in South Africa, India or Uganda, you’ll work collaboratively with local staff in a particular area of school leadership - previous fellows have worked across areas such as curriculum development, teacher training and school culture.

  • Build your leadership skills
  • Experience our work in a different context
  • Develop an international school
  • Travel to Africa or India on a fully-funded trip

Who are we looking for?

The programme will not be running this year (2019) but will return next year.
