Tuesday 10th August 2021

Today, students at Ark’s schools are receiving their A Level and BTEC grades, with hundreds securing places at top universities and on high quality apprenticeships.  
Staff and students at Ark Schools have faced significant challenges over the past year, including the changed assessment system introduced to cope with the pandemic and the disruption caused throughout the academic year as a result of lockdowns and Covid restrictions.  

Wednesday 4th August 2021

This year, the Ark Music team brought festival vibes to our schools with the launch of the Summer Sounds festival.
From 12th until 16th July, the event connected the school community and was an excellent opportunity to celebrate the end of the year.

Thursday 29th July 2021

Thanks to the overwhelming support from volunteers from various business sectors, Ark’s Alumni team was able to provide an ‘Industry Mentor’ to more than 120 young people in 2020/21.
Students were able to gain vital support, helping them to navigate and adapt to remote working, develop their professional skills and research a range of career paths available to them as part of our Beyond Ark support programme.

Ark is celebrating a record year for teacher training with 152 new graduates coming to the end of their training year.

A £150m not-for-profit scheme bringing affordable homes, improved community facilities and an innovative education hub to the White City neighbourhood in west London is to go ahead following an agreement between Ark and Hammersmith & Fulham Council (H&F).

Tuesday 6th July 2021

Ark Acton Academy students are blazing a trail in competitive debating, having reached the final of two national inter-school competitions.
Having reached the final round of the Debate Mate Cup on 17 June, the students won their first debate but missed the few points needed to reach the final two.
Ark Acton fielded a team of Year 7, 8 and 10 students who went up against a team of Year 10s from Liverpool and debated on the motion of ‘This house will make veterinary care for pets free’ and came out victorious.

Having grown up in the shadow of Wembley stadium, Raheem Sterling is living his dream as England’s top scorer in this summer’s European tournament.
Paul Lawrence was Raheem’s football coach at what is now Ark Elvin Academy – and he continues to teach the school’s students today.
