What do you look for in an application?
This will differ from role to role and school to school, so please make sure you read the job description and the person specification. More generally, we look for someone who is aligned to our mission, is results-orientated, and has proven success in their previous roles.

Can I move between schools in the network?
One of the advantages of working for Ark is that there are many opportunities to change jobs and stay within the Ark family. Many staff have roles in multiple schools or across our network team and Ark Ventures. There are also opportunities to work in network-wide or regional roles which span various schools in the network.
Once you create a candidate profile via the Ark careers portal, your application details will be saved. When applying for multiple vacancies across the network, your profile will prepopulate with your existing details, ensuring a quick and easy application process.
Are you able to offer sponsorship for international candidates?
We are able to offer sponsorship but this is decided on a case-by-case basis by each individual school. If you are eligible for sponsorship, the first step would be for you to apply for the role via our dedicated careers portal. If you are shortlisted and hired by the school, we would then start the sponsorship process. If you are a teacher, please do check your eligibility for Qualified Teacher Status before applying.
I’m not a qualified teacher, how can I train?
