Pontefract

Rich in history, Pontefract is a quaint market town nestled in the heart of West Yorkshire, home to a close-knit community of around 33,000 people. Our region stretches beyond Pontefract to South Kirkby, a former mining village with a proud heritage of its own. Together, these communities are built on strong local connections, shared history and a welcoming culture.

Close geographically and closer in collaboration, all of our local schools work together as a regional hub. The schools are overseen by a dedicated Regional Director who provides an added layer of support and expertise.
