Birmingham

The second largest city in the UK, Birmingham boasts a vibrant and diverse culture with a rich history, over 8,000 acres of parks and green spaces, a thriving foodie scene and more canals than Venice!

There are five Ark schools in Birmingham; our two secondaries, Ark Boulton and Ark St Alban’s, our two all-through schools, Ark Kings and Ark Victoria and our primary, Ark Tindal Primary Academy.

All schools are overseen by a dedicated Regional Director who provides an added layer of support and expertise. Despite being in different communities throughout the city, our Birmingham schools work closely together as a regional hub, giving you the added benefit of close collaboration with a wider cluster of schools.

Thinking of relocating?

We can offer relocation packages of up to £3,000 to support you with your move to Birmingham where you’ll benefit from unparalleled support from experienced leaders and education experts.

Hear from some of our staff about what it’s like to live and work in the city.

At Ark Victoria we work as a community, not as individuals but as a team. That’s one of the best aspects of being part of Ark, especially in the Birmingham region, where we really support and boost one another.

Hastings

With almost 2,000 hours of sunshine per year, a large art community, an extensive seafront, excellent pubs, bars and restaurants and a thriving music scene Hastings is the perfect place to relocate to for a change of pace.

London

The UK’s capital city has some of the best and fastest-improving schools in the country. However, considerable work is still to be done to ensure that all children in London have access to an excellent education. In London, you will work in a school that is every bit as diverse, vibrant and exciting as the city.

Portsmouth

The UK’s only island city, Portsmouth has a rich nautical history. But there’s more to Portsmouth than just historic docks; the city boasts miles of coastal walks, world-class museums and attractions, award-winning restaurants and a plethora of water sports.
