There are four Ark schools in Hastings; our secondary, Ark Alexandra Academy and our three primaries, Ark Blacklands, Ark Castledown and Ark Little Ridge.

Our three primaries are overseen by a dedicated Executive Principal, meaning they can better share best practice across the region. Ark Alexandra operates as one school across two separate campuses, creating the dual benefit of working within a small school setting, whilst providing more opportunities for growth and career progression.

All schools are all supported by our Regional Director, Lorraine Clarke, who was awarded an OBE in 2022 for services to education.

Thinking of relocating?

We can offer relocation packages of up to £3,000 to support you with your move to Hastings where you’ll benefit from unparalleled support from experienced leaders and education experts.

Hear from some of our staff about what it’s like to work for an Ark school in Hastings.

There is an amazing community of teachers in Hastings and I know that I’ve made friends for life working here. I’ve been given opportunities to progress into a leadership position within the department and it’s great to be able to collaborate with other teachers from Ark schools following a similar career path.

London

The UK’s capital city has some of the best and fastest-improving schools in the country. However, considerable work is still to be done to ensure that all children in London have access to an excellent education. In London, you will work in a school that is every bit as diverse, vibrant and exciting as the city.

Portsmouth
