What do you look for in an application?

This will differ from role to role and school to school so please make sure you read the job description and the person specification. More generally, we look for someone who has high aspirations for our students and is results-orientated with proven success in their previous roles.

One of the advantages of working for Ark is that there are many opportunities to change jobs and stay within the Ark family. I’m not a qualified teacher, how can I train?

Ark has its own School Direct programme, Ark Teacher Training. Ark Teacher Training is a school-based teacher training programme that is rated ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted. Find out more about Ark Teacher Training here.
