Students celebrating results at Ark Globe Academy

Hundreds of Ark graduates are celebrating today after securing places at top universities and prestigious degree apprenticeships.

Across our network of schools, 80 percent of all A level grades were A* to C (up three percentage points on 2023). This is four percentage points higher than the national average.

Ark students also performed well in their A level-equivalent BTEC qualifications, with 41 percent achieving distinctions graded D*DD or higher (two percentage points up on last year). Overall, 76 percent achieved A* to C or equivalent in all three of their subjects.

Jerry Collins, Director of Secondary said, “Our schools’ consistently high performance reflects our commitment to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment. Our teachers and staff ensure that young people have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their academic pursuits and future careers. Congratulations to all our Year 13 students – we wish them well as they pursue the next chapter of their lives.”

There are many inspiring stories of individual success across the network.

The past two years have been difficult, however, as strenuous as it was, I can see how much I have grown through this as a person. I could never have done this without the constant support from my loving parents, the dedicated Sixth Form team and the enormous efforts of my teachers – I can’t thank them enough.”

Suzanne

Ark Elvin Academy

Suzanne Musa had no formal UK education, having lived in Iraq and arrived in the UK at the start of Year 12. Despite this, she has worked exceptionally hard to achieve her predicted grades of D*DD. She has completed her Duke of Edinburgh award, been involved at the school’s Community Kitchen initiative and participated in the Future Leaders Programme.

Suzanne said, ‘All the staff at Elvin have helped me achieve more than I thought I could. When I arrived, I didn’t know that much English, and I didn’t understand the UK school system.
