Kate Magliocco has been appointed as Regional Director at Ark for London and Portsmouth primary schools and will start in September.
Kate will provide invaluable support to Principals and senior leaders and help them continue their journey of delivering excellent educational outcome for students.
Kate is currently Executive Principal at Harris Federation where she has been since 2013 as Principal of Harris Academy Kenley. In 2017, following the successful leadership of a cluster of three primary academies (Kenley, Benson and Haling). Kate also managed Harris Purley Way, Peckham Park and Peckham Free, as well as Philip Lane.
Kate’s role transitioned to supporting three all-through academies within the Federation (Chobham, Tottenham and Gerrard), two of which have received an outstanding judgement.
In addition to her work with Harris, Kate has also been heavily involved as a facilitator on the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) and National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership (NPQEL) training.
