On 1 May, pupils, parents and staff were welcomed to their brand new school building at ARK Brunel Primary Academy on Middle Row, north Kensington.

“ARK Brunel Primary Academy is a vibrant and happy school and we are committed to giving our pupils the very best start in life and encourage them to ‘choose brilliance,’ said Mr Smith. “We are delighted with our brand new state-of-the-art building that will provide children from north Kensington and neighbouring areas with a learning environment they richly deserve for generations to come.”
“My son attends ARK Brunel nursery and my older children attend ARK’s Burlington Danes Academy. I’m excited for the teachers and children at ARK Brunel now they are in their brilliant new building,” said Ann-Marie Stockwell, a parent who attended the new building opening. “ARK has excellent values and I’m confident my son is going to progress extremely well through the years at ARK Brunel.”
The building, designed by Penoyre & Prasad and built by BAM Construction, features two roof terraces for outdoor learning and dedicated art & design and ICT rooms. The finishing touches are being made to the school with the key stage 2 playground due to be ready for the new academic year.
