ARK Schools is delighted to announce the appointment of Lucy Frame as principal designate of ARK All Saints Academy, the ARK Schools/Church of England academy which will open on the site of St Michael and All Angels Academy in Camberwell in September 2013. She will take up the post in January which will give her two clear terms of preparation for the opening in September.
Ms Frame is currently vice principal of Walworth Academy and the head of Chaplin School, one of Walworth’s two key stage 3 schools and before that was deputy head of the lower school. She has been assistant principal since 2004 and before that head of year. She has worked closely with Walworth’s principal, Devon Hanson, and played an important part in Walworth’s transition to becoming an academy and in its development and success. She started her teaching career at Greycoat Hospital School and has a degree in theology and education and a master’s degree in school development.
ARK Schools Managing Director, Lucy Heller, said: “Lucy Frame has played a huge part in the development and success of Walworth Academy and I am delighted that she is now getting the chance to create a new school for children in Camberwell.”
Chair of Governors, Peter Martin, said: “Lucy will make an excellent principal for ARK All Saints Academy and we are really pleased she is joining us.”
Ms Frame will take up her appointment in January 2013 to plan the opening of ARK All Saints Academy in September 2013.
