Siân Maddrell will be joining Ark as the organisation’s new Secondary Regional Director for South London.
Siân is a successful school leader with more than 25 years’ experience. She is currently Headteacher of The Grey Coat Hospital, a post she has held for the last eight years. She is also Chair of the Westminster Heads Forum. She joins Ark in January.
Prior to her role at Grey Coat, Siân was Senior Vice Principal at Pimlico Academy and a senior leader at Acland Burghley School. She earned her BA at Durham, PGCE at University of Oxford and her NPQH from the University of London’s Institute of Education.
At Ark, Siân will be working across seven Ark south London schools, supporting their senior leadership and helping to drive up outcomes for students.
