Sterling’s school coach recalls the top scorer’s early days

Having grown up in the shadow of Wembley stadium, Raheem Sterling is living his dream as England’s top scorer in this summer’s European tournament.

Paul Lawrence was Raheem’s football coach at what is now Ark Elvin Academy – and he continues to teach the school’s students today.

We caught up with Paul on the eve of England’s crucial match with Germany at Wembley to find out how Raheem was able to achieve his dreams and what his success means for the students and the school today.
