Essi Viding

Essi Viding is professor of Developmental Psychopathology at University College London (UCL). She is the Pro Vice Provost for the Mental Health and Wellbeing Grand Challenge at UCL and co-directs UCL’s Developmental Risk and Resilience Unit (DRRU). She has over 20 years of experience in conducting research into children and young people’s mental health, using both observational and experimental methods. She regularly advices government and third sector organisations and is a Fellow of the British Academy and the Academy of Medical Sciences.
