CIDRZ: Rotavirus prevention and treatment in Zambia

The Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) exist to improve public health in Zambia. Ark worked with them to expand Zambia’s cold storage facilities, train health workers, educate communities, improve rotavirus vaccine coverage and encourage the use of zinc and oral rehydration salts to treat acute illnesses. More than 250,000 people across Lusaka province were reached by the programme.
