Global Schools Forum: Strengthening the education sector in developing countries
GSF is a thriving global network, which aims to strengthen the education sector by working with non-state organisations in developing countries who are serving children from low income backgrounds. It grew out of Ark’s international education work and was a response to the rapid growth of the non-state school education sector in Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and Latin America. It was formally launched as a membership organisation in 2017 and by 2019 had 48 members from 32 countries, representing more than 17,000 schools.
