Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Support the Inclusion team, and the wider school community, by taking responsibility for the engagement and learning of students identified as having social, emotional, mental health and behavioural needs.
• Work with students on an individual and/or small group basis, in and out of lessons.
• Support staff members in creating an effective and safe learning environment, by dealing with behaviour that disrupts learning

Location: Putney, South-West London

Salary: £28,998 Ark Support Inner London scale 5 point 8 pro rata for term time only

Working pattern: Term time

Contract: Permanent

Start date: 1 September 2024

About our school:

Ark Putney Academy opened in September 2012 as part of the Ark network in the London Borough of Wandsworth. We’re a mixed school with 870 students, ranging from year 7 through to sixth form.
